CVRCD directors are local citizens interested in the wise use and preservation of the Coachella Valley’s natural resources. By state mandate they either own land within the District boundaries or they are sponsored by local landowners. The Directors serve on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation for their time and work. CVRCD directors are appointed to four year terms and must take an oath of office at the time of appointment. There is no limit to the number of terms a director may serve.
